Insights partners with Minerva Foundation for BC Women

Insights Vancouver is proud to partner with the Minerva Foundation for BC Women and their Learning to Lead Leadership Development program. Since 2002, Insights Vancouver has worked with Minerva to enhance leadership development for over 1800 women from throughout British Columbia who are making significant differences in their communities.

The mission of the Minerva Foundation for BC Women is to inspire and empower motivated women to reach their full potential by creating opportunities and offering programs through trusted partnerships in the areas of education, leadership development, and economic security.

The Learning to Lead Leadership Conference brings together high school students, graduate students, and business and community leaders from around the province to interact and learn from one another through a life-changing weekend of workshops and activities. The objective of the program is to provide tools for all participants to achieve their personal, educational and career goals, as well as to advance opportunities for participants to pursue leadership roles in all facets of society including business, government and the community. Each year, at least three Senior Learning Consultants from Insights Vancouver work with Minerva participants who receive their Insights Discovery Personal profile, a customized Learning Guide and job aids.

The Learning to Lead – Combining our Strength program is designed to assist Aboriginal women in British Columbia to meet the challenges currently facing their communities. The dialogue approach acts as a channel for discussion between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal women and to create a trust between the women’s communities. Insights provides participants with an easy-to-use tool for personal and leadership development.
