Last month, Insights Vancouver Senior Learning Consultant Kim White worked with a newly formed team of seven international sales leaders. These high performers travel extensively, and wanted to improve team communications. They saw the importance of recognizing individual contributions and the individuality of each team member as they work to shift their organization in a new direction. In the past, they focused on the ‘what’ – the various tasks and results they were achieving. Now, they want to change focus to recognize the ‘how’ – the relationships – that make their business successful.
Kim worked with team members to review their team strengths and spent time on understanding their unique expression of themselves with an in-depth look at their graphs. Team members spent a lot of time ‘walking the wheel’ and learning to identify the breadth of diversity in their team preferences.
This team specializes in technology and services for the management and security of computers, networks and portable devices. Working with Insights Vancouver, they are continuing to build on the strengths of their team and using their new-found understanding of their team’s strength to rapidly grow their business.
