Summertime highlights our needs for sunshine, beaches, and barbeques. However, it can also be the perfect time to ‘upgrade’ your knowledge and examine new resources for upcoming fall programs. You can customize a summer learning program to fit your personal, team, and organizational needs – come to one module, choose a selection, or attend the whole series. At each session you will receive your own copy of the new workshop journal for that topic, facilitator’s notes, and a sample one day agenda. The new Insights Workshop Journals (formally released in January, 2010) continue to build on the Insights Discovery Profile, using a dynamic, refreshing approach.  They are completely compatible with all other resources from the Insights Discovery system. While you may not ‘do’ all of the exercises in the session, you will experience the proposed workshops in a way that will fast track your success in designing and delivering for greatest impact.

Pre-requisite: This session will draw on your unique Insights Discovery Profile.  Bring your Profile with you, or if it has been more than two years since you completed a Profile we will include a new Profile as part of your registration.

Module 1:  Discovering Sales Effectiveness - August 16^th, 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Some have said that the Effective Selling Chapter of the Insights Discovery Profile may contain the most observable and measurable applications for immediate results. This module demonstrates how to apply the colour energies from a sales or influencing perspective. Topics include ingredients of successful selling and influencing, the Insights model of selling, and strategies for recognizing and connecting with colourful customers.

Module 2:  Beginning the Journey - August 19^th, 1:00pm - 4:00pm

This module provides an optional introductory workshop design and resources for those who are already familiar with using 1) Key to Personal Effectiveness (learning guide or on-line module, 2) A Brief Journey, or 3) A Companion Guide. This module extends what you already know and offers new exercises and a new learning format for your consideration. Topics include the following:  ladder of perception, introducing colour energies, Jungian preferences, eight types, recognizing type, adapting and connecting, and action planning.

Module 3:  Discovering Team Effectiveness - August 20^th, 9:00am – 12:00pm

Explore a process for extending learning for intact teams. As a resource, this module focuses on both the Foundation Chapter and the Management Chapter of the Insights Discovery Profile. Topics include how you view a team, strengths within a team, team dynamics, your value to a team, adapting and connecting with the eight types, communicating in the team, the team effectiveness model, your ideal environment, assessing team culture, and committing to action.

Module 4:  Discovering Leadership Effectiveness - August 20^th, 1:00pm – 4:00pm

Extend application of the Insights Discovery system for leaders within your organization. Topics include traits of great leaders, the four Insights Discovery Colour Energies in Leadership, four manifestations of leadership, applying the management chapter of your Insights Discovery Profile, and committing to action. This module shows the linkages to other programs you may want to deliver from the Emerging Leaders series.
