Transformational Leadership

Insights leadership development methodology is underpinned by the major premise that change in the workplace starts with change at the individual level.  And there is no better place to start this personal development work than with an organization’s leaders.

Our Transformational Leadership Program devotes time to helping leaders understand their own unique style, and how this manifests itself in their relationships with others and in their day-to-day activities.

With a clear knowledge of self and personal impact, we move leaders on to examine their effectiveness in eight critical areas, using a range of diagnostic tools and learning modes to move towards personal action plans.

The eight elements of the Insights Transformational Leadership model have been placed around the Insights Discovery wheel.

   -
Leading Change

   -   Compelling Vision

   -   Inspiring Others

   -   Fostering Teamwork

   -   Coaching & Mentoring

   -   Inner Spirit

   -   Thought Leadership

   -   Results Oriented

Each of these elements is underpinned by specific capabilities at the self, team and organizational levels.   Each of these:

   -   Pulls most strongly on one or, in some cases, two particular colour energies

   -   Requires all four Insights Discovery colour energies to be used effectively

For example, although ‘Fostering Teamwork – building cohesive, high-performance teams’ draws especially on Sunshine Yellow and Earth Green energy:

   -   it still needs a blend of all four colour energies if it is to be done to a high standard

   -
it can be mastered by anyone, no matter what their colour energy preferences or their personal wheel position

Transformational leaders are aware of their thought processes and the biases of their perceptions.  Truly great leaders need to adapt and apply a variety of cognitive and intuitive processes in order to excel in many different disciplines.   This program is designed to build a leader’s capability to utilize different thinking and processing styles to maximize their effectiveness.

This one-day workshop focuses on personal creativity and understanding your own learning style.  Leaders will be encouraged to identify their own dominant style, to identify the key aspects of both the content and the process of their thinking, and to make any necessary enhancements.  This involves balancing objective analysis, personal intuition and consultation with others in their decision-making.

Participants in this program will

  • Examine their preferred patterns of thought and learning to increase their awareness of the distortions and biases of their perception
