Insights Vancouver proudly hosted their 10th Annual Regional Conference Monday, December 6th in downtown Vancouver. This was our largest gathering yet, with over 80 members of the Insights community in attendance to network, share and learn.
Andrew J. Lothian, Chief Executive Officer of the Insights Group joined us from Dundee, Scotland, headquarters of Insights Global. His morning address, ‘Greeting the Challenge – Insights for a Global World’ highlighted the impact and transformation taking place in organizations around the world who are integrating Insights into their people development strategies.
Break-out ‘cracker barrel’ sessions were as popular as ever, with nine different topics exploring opportunities to use or enhance the Insights system throughout organizations. Client sessions moderated by Senior Learning Consultant Kim White included presentations from Stephen Clinton of the BC Ambulance Authority, Deborah Lang of Coastal Community Credit Union and Andy Lothian of Insights Learning and Development. As always, there were great questions from the audience and lots of enthusiastic sharing. (Case studies shared during this session are located here for your review.)
After lunch, Senior Learning Consultants Anne Bishop and Shauna Grinke gave attendees a taste of recent developments in Transforming Teams, and Insights Vancouver President Joyce Gwilliam led a group discussion on Transforming Organizations, and the Business Challenge Analysis. Throughout the day, a number of guests appeared in short video segments to share the power, impact and results they are seeing in using the Insights system in their organizations.
